EACOP STRENGTHENS LOCAL CAPACITY THROUGH SUPPLY CHAIN AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT TRAINING

Worley, tier-1 contractor responsible for the engineering, procurement and support services (EPS) scope on the EACOP project successfully conducted a Train-the-Trainer (TtT) and an Industry Enhancement Centre (IEC) training at the Industry Enhancement Centre in Kololo on 4th and 5th March 2026 respectively. Both trainings were delivered under the theme Supply Chain, Contract Management and Negotiation.

The Train-the-Trainer (TtT) session attracted a diverse group of university lecturers from leading academic institutions including Makerere University, Kyambogo University and Ndejje University. A total of 14 lecturers participated in the session.

The Industry Enhancement Centre (IEC) training focused on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and attracted 23 participants from different companies. Some of the SMEs represented included Matic Energy Solutions, K.D Technical Services, Infracon (U) Limited and Victorium Holdings Ltd, among others.

Participants from both sessions shared positive feedback, highlighting the practical insights and relevance of the training to strengthening local capacity in supply chain management, contract.
