EACOP LEADERSHIP MEETS WITH MINISTER OF ENERGY TO SHARE PROJECT PROGRESS

On 9th July 2025, Our MD, Mr. Guillaume Dulout, accompanied by members of the EACOP Management Team, paid a courtesy visit to the Hon. Canon Dr. Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD).

Held at the Ministry headquarters in Kampala, the meeting was an important engagement that provided an opportunity to present key updates on the EACOP project’s progress and to discuss ongoing strategic initiatives as the pipeline development advances.

The discussions focused on:

  • The current status of pipeline construction and related infrastructure
  • Collaboration between EACOP and MEMD on regulatory and technical oversight
  • Shared goals around national development and energy infrastructure

This high-level engagement served to strengthen the partnership between EACOP and the Ministry, reaffirming a shared commitment to transparency, collaboration, and timely project delivery.

Speaking after the meeting, the EACOP team expressed deep appreciation for the continued support, guidance, and oversight from the Ministry throughout the project lifecycle.

This visit is part of EACOP’s broader stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring that project implementation remains aligned with national priorities and maintains the confidence and cooperation of key institutions.
